Report: Leverkusen in race with Arsenal, Newcastle and others for Brazilian forward
25-year-old Gabriel Barbosa is said to have attracted interest from Bayer Leverkusen as well as a number of clubs from England.
Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs interested in Flamengo forward Gabriel Barbosa, who could be on the move in January, according to 90min.de.
However, per the report, the 25-year-old would prefer a move to the English Premier League, with West Ham, Arsenal, Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle also understood to be keeping tabs on him.
Gabriel Barbosa, also known as 'Gabigol', has previously played for Santos, Inter and Benfica.
He has made 121 appearances for Flamengo, racking up 83 goals and 26 assists. His contract expires in 2024.
