Frimpong "questionable" for the weekend due to ankle blow
Bayer Leverkusen are sweating over the fitness of Jeremie Frimpong after he picked up a knock last night.
Jeremie Frimpong has emerged a doubt for Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.
The right-back took a blow on the ankle during last night's 0-1 defeat to Ferencvaros in the Europa League.
"Jeremie Frimpong has been hit hard on the ankle. We will continue to look at it this evening," said Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane at the post-match press conference.
"I cannot say anything definite yet, but I currently consider an appearance at the weekend to be questionable."
The 21-year-old has made 22 appearances for Leverkusen this season with two goals and six assists to his name.
