Gladbach boss defends Hütter: "We are all to blame"

Adi Hütter alone isn't to blame for Gladbach's poor form, underlines sporting director Max Eberl.
Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has defended head coach Adi Hütter after Gladbach lost 4-1 to RB Leipzig yesterday, falling to their third straight Bundesliga defeat.

In an interview with ZDF on Saturday evening, Eberl pointed out that Hütter alone isn't responsible for the team's poor form.

"The coach is responsible, but I am also responsible for everything that is put together. At the same time, players must implement on the pitch what a coach prescribes," said Eberl.

"We are all to blame. I don't want to see anyone pointing the finger at anyone else. We all have a responsibility. We all have to deal with this together."

Gladbach sit 13th ahead of their mid-week clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
