Hofmann open to considering new Gladbach deal
Jonas Hofmann is not ruling out signing a new contract with Gladbach.
Gladbach recently announced that Matthias Ginter and Denis Zakaria are set to leave the club in the summer at the latest after rejecting new contracts.
The club bosses will want to avoid a similar situation with Jonas Hofmann, whose contract expires in 2023. Fortunately for them, the 29-year-old could imagine signing a new deal.
"I'm open to it all. I have a very good relationship with [sporting director] Max Eberl. I can talk to him about everything," Hofmann told Bild.
"The fact is: I feel very comfortable in Gladbach. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to perform as well as I have."
Hofmann has scored seven goals in 14 games for Gladbach this season.
