Atletico Madrid reported to be interested in Leipzig defender
RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele is being linked with a move to Atletico Madrid.
Atletico Madrid are showing interest in RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele, according to L'Equipe and Fussballtransfers.
Per the reports, Atletico are keen to sign Mukiele this month as a replacement for Kieran Tripper, who recently departed the Spanish capital for a move to Newcastle United.
It's claimed that the Spanish La Liga outfit have already established contact with Mukiele, with L'Equipe estimating that he could cost around €20 million.
According to Sky Germany, however, RB Leipzig have ruled out selling Mukiele this month.
The versatile defender has made 23 appearances for Leipzig this season, but is currently sidelined due to COVID-19.
