Jeong's agent responds to Bayern links

Freiburg forward Woo-yeong Jeong's representative has commented on speculation that Bayern are interested in bringing the 22-year-old back.
Woo-yeong Jeong's agent, Martin Rath, has reacted to speculation linking his client with a move back to Bayern München.

The 22-year-old joined Freiburg for €2 million in 2019, and reports claim Bayern have an option to re-sign him for €10 million.

"The connections [with Bayern] are still there, of course. I'm sure some clubs are looking at him because he's a top performer. So I wouldn't be surprised," Rath told Goal and Spox.

However, as the agent points out, Jeong only just signed a new contract with Freiburg last month.

"We extended his contract with SC Freiburg. This is a clear statement. He feels comfortable there. I assume that he will still play for Freiburg next season. What the clubs work out among themselves is a different matter," he continued.

Jeong has scored four goals in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season.
