Hoffenheim announce new deal for Georginio Rutter

Georginio Rutter has committed himself to Hoffenheim by signing a new long-term deal with the Bundesliga club.
Hoffenheim have announced that 19-year-old Georginio Rutter has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Rutter, who has chipped in with four goals and five assists in 20 games this season, has signed a new deal through 2026.

"Georgi has made breathtaking progress with us over the past year," said Hoffenheim director of professional football Alexander Rosen.

"He is one of the most promising talents in European football, whose further development has been given a powerful boost by the move to Hoffenheim.

"Despite his young age, he already has an incredible combination of athleticism, technique, speed and goal-scoring ability."

"Everything I dreamed of from this transfer has come true so far," commented Georginio Rutter.

"I've been given a great welcome here, I'm being supported in every way, I feel very well looked after and I'm looking forward to our future together at TSG. For young players like me, Hoffenheim is the perfect club."
