Haaland delivers injury update: "I'll be back soon!"

Speaking to Viaplay, Erling Haaland promises to be back from injury soon.
Erling Haaland has given a short update on the muscle injury he sustained in Borussia Dortmund's 3-2 win over Hoffenheim last week.

The Norwegian international is a doubt for Dortmund's next Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen next week, but reports have claimed he could be fit in time to feature.

Asked by Viaplay how he's doing, Haaland responded:

"It's going well. I'm training well, and I will be back soon."

Back sooner rather than later?

"We will see."

In the same interview, Haaland expressed frustration with the injuries that have kept him out of six Bundesliga games already this season.

"If I should improve one thing, that is not to be injured. Because if I'm not injured, I will play more games, and I will deliver even better," Haaland said.

"It's the worst feeling to don't be able to play because it is basically what your job is.

"It's a part of it, and it's not good, but it's good training for the head if you can handle it. And it makes me even more hungry for success."
