Report: Amiri set for Genoa medical

Nadiem Amiri is said to be on the verge of a move to Genoa.
Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly agreed a deal to send Nadiem Amiri out on loan to Genoa.

Te deal has been approved by new Genoa coach Alexander Blessin, according to transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, who claims Amiri will be in Italy to undergo a medical and sign his deal today.

Kicker recently reported that the deal includes an obligation to buy of around €9 million that will come into effect if the 19th-placed Serie A side avoid relegation this season.

21-year-old PSG midfielder Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe has been touted as a possible replacement for Amiri.
