Report: Leverkusen table €15 million offer for Colombian attacker

Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport reports that Bayer 04 Leverkusen have tendered an offer to Feyenoord Rotterdam for Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra.
Competition remains fierce for Feyenoord Rotterdam winger Luis Sinisterra. The 22-year-old has put together an excellent season in the Dutch top flight this season, netting 18 goals and chipping in in 11 assists in 38 competitive appearances. Arsenal FC, Athletico Madrid, and SSC Napoli are among the interested parties.

According to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport, however, Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen are willing to plunk down a significant amount of cash immediately for a player they presumably consider to be the perfect replacement for French attacker Moussa Diaby. The Italian paper reports that Germany's red company team are willing to fork over some €15 million.

Sinisterra's current market value exceeds that. The prolific Cafetero could be worth €18-20 million based on the latest transfermarkt listings. The manner in which his attacking style resembles Diaby may mean that Leverkusen are certainly willing to go beyond this initial lowball bid. In Europe since 2018, Sinisterra still has a contract with the Erdevisie side through the end off the 2023/24 campaign.
