Report: Mudryk pushing to join Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen are said to have made an offer of around €20 million for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, with the 21-year-old pushing for a move to BayArena.
Ukrainian winger Mykhaylo Mudryk is reportedly pushing for a move away from Shakhtar Donetsk, with Bayer Leverkusen being his preferred destination. The 21-year-old, dubbed the 'Ukrainian Neymar' is known for his flashy playstyle which is similar to the Brazilian star. Recent developments in Ukraine have really put a question mark on his future at Donetsk.

There are multiple possible suitors for Mudryk, with Brentford FC of the Premier League also keen on his signature. The player himself, however, prefers a move to Leverkusen, as he stated in a recent interview with Sportarena.

Now, journalist Ekrem Konur and Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg have confirmed the rumors, with Plettenberg claiming that Leverkusen have already made an offer of about 20 million Euros and a contract offer till 2027, and are awaiting Shakhtar's response.

Mudryk could fill the gap Seoane's team have recently started to show on the left wing. With Moussa Diaby, the right wing position is surely secure but neither the currently injured Adli, nor highly rated Brazilian Paulinho have managed enough consistency to make the spot their own. He also offers a different style of play to the pacey nature of Adli and Diaby, which would be essential for Seoane, especially with Paulinho's future at the club uncertain.

With the player more than keen on joining Die Werkself, this move could gather traction soon.
