Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp was named player of the match as 'Die Adler' won the Europa League tonight, beating Rangers 5-4 on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra-time.

The 31-year-old made a number of important stops throughout the game, including a penalty save in the shootout.

After being called the hero of the evening by RTL presenter Thomas Wagner in a post-match interview, Trapp said:

"We are all heroes! Just look at this! We were down 0-1 and kept going.

"We knew we were still in it. We did this together and couldn't have done it without the fans."
