Werder Bremen vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach preview: Can Farke's side claim consecutive victories?
Borussia Mönchengladbach will attempt to record a second straight Bundesliga victory when they face Werder Bremen on Sunday.
Werder Bremen
Werder Bremen return to the Bundesliga has certainly been entertaining to watch. They began the campaign with consecutive 2-2 draws, before pulling off a memorable comeback victory to beat Borussia Dortmund on matchday three.
However, after enjoying a three-game unbeaten start to the season, Bremen's form appears to have dropped off. A 4-3 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt was followed by a win over Bochum, but they have only taken one point from their last two matches.
After losing 1-0 to Augsburg, Ole Werner would have at least been grateful to see his side avoid consecutive defeats when they faced Bayer Leverkusen before the international break. Miloš Veljković helped his side hold Die Werkself to a 1-1 draw with an 82nd-minute equaliser, which also preserved Werder Bremen's unbeaten away record.
While they have collected eight points from their four away games this term, Bremen are still searching for their first home win of the season. Saturday's hosts will at the very least be looking to avoid a third consecutive home defeat.

Dikeni Salifou and Jean-Manuel Mbom will miss out for Wolfsburg due to injury issues, while Amos Pieper is suspended for the contest.
Gladbach
Gladbach are currently three points better off than their hosts after losing just one of their opening seven league matches.
Although a 1-0 defeat to Mainz ended Gladbach's four-game unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season, Daniel Farke's side have responded by taking four points from their previous four games.
Following a goalless draw against Freiburg, Saturday's visitors eased to victory in their home meeting with RB Leipzig. Jonas Hofmann scored a first half brace, which got Gladbach off the perfect start before Rami Bensebaïni wrapped up the 3-0 victory with a 53rd-minute strike.
Gladbach will attempt to extend their unbeaten Bundesliga away run to seven matches, although they may be cautious about their chances of victory after drawing their previous five away games in the league.

The visitors are unable to call upon Hannes Wolf, Ko Itakura and Florian Neuhaus, who are all sidelined with injury issues.
