Bayern boss confirms Hudson-Odoi interest

Bayern München sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed the club's interest in Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Bayern München are interested in signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed at a press conference today.

The highly-rated youngster has been heavily linked with a move to the Bavarian club recently, and Salihamidzic doesn't hide the fact Bayern want to bring him to Germany.

"He's a very interesting player that we absolutely want to sign. He has qualities that fits our playing style. He's a great dribbler, fast and has an eye for goal," Salihamidzic said.

On Tuesday, Sky Germany reported that Bayern have matched Chelsea's €35 million asking fee for the 18-year-old winger.

Meanwhile, Sky UK has claimed that Bayern have made an offer of €39 million which according to their information matches Chelsea's asking price.

Salihamidzic also said that Bayern München are yet to decide if they want to take advantage of a €42 million option to sign Real Madrid loanee James Rodriguez on a permanent deal.

"We have a lot of conversations. He needs to be comfortable to put in his top performances. We're doing everything we can for that. I know how important he can be to us," the Bayern boss said and added:

"We have time to decide. We'll wait for the games."
