Germany announce squad for October friendlies

Julian Nagelsmann has named his first Germany squad for the matches against the United States and Mexico.

New Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has named his squad for friendlies against the United States and Mexico later this month.




Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Robert Andrich, VfB Stuttgart winger Chris Führich and Union Berlin striker Kevin Behrens have all been handed their first Germany senior call-ups by Nagelsmann.

The former Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich boss has also opted to recall Mats Hummels for the first time in two years.

Thomas Müller has been included as well, as has Leon Goretzka, who was left out of Hansi Flick's squad for the September games.
