Augsburg boss: Dortmund haven't contacted us about Philipp Max

FC Augsburg boss Stefan Reuter says Borussia Dortmund haven't asked about Philipp Max.
Philipp Max has been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund, but Augsburg sporting director Stefan Reuter claims the Bundesliga leaders haven't made their interest in the left-back known.

According to a Bild report, Dortmund have targeted Max, but when asked about the alleged interest, Reuter underlines that BVB boss Michael Zorc hasn't contacted him about the full-back.

"No, he hasn't. Besides, Max is still under contract here for several years. And I'm pretty sure that there would be direct contact if Borussia Dortmund were keeping an eye on one of our players. The connections are that good, after all," Reuter, who used to play for Borussia Dortmund, told Funke Sport.

Philipp Max's contract with Augsburg runs until 2022.
