Yussuf Poulsen: 'It's my best season ever'
RB Leipzig's Yussuf Poulsen says this has been the best season of his career.
RB Leipzig's Yussuf Poulsen is extremely satisfied with how the season has progressed for him so far.
The Danish international had scored nine Bundesliga goals in 59 appearances prior to this season, but he has already netted 12 times in the league during the 2018/19 campaign.
"It's my best season ever. It has been a really, really good season. But there are still a lot of matches left to finish things off," Poulsen told Danish news outlet bold.dk and went on to explain his improvement:
"I've become more aware of what I can do and of the things that make me a good player."
"I know the areas where I'm really strong and better than my opponents," Poulsen underlined.
Poulsen, 24, joined RB Leipzig in 2013 and is the club's record appearance holder, having played 210 games since then.
