Filip Kostic: 'This is the best phase of my career'
Eintracht Frankfurt's Filip Kostic says he's in the form of his life at the moment.
Filip Kostic once again made the difference for Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday as he scored a brace in his side's 3-0 win over VfB Stuttgart.
The former Stuttgart winger has now scored four goals and made three assists in his last five Bundesliga games, and he feels he has never been better.
"It's a special day for me. I scored twice against my former club. I'm sorry that VfB lost, but it was an important victory for us. This is the best phase of my career so far," Kostic told Fussball.news after Sunday's win.
Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter lauded praise on Kostic for his modesty and attitude.
"From the first day, Filip has presented himself as a top player with a top mentality," Hütter said.
Kostic, 26, has made 35 appearances for Frankfurt this season with eight goals and 10 assists to his name.
