Schalke players not given any time off after Hoffenheim thrashing

Schalke 04's players will not get any time off for Easter, says head coach Huub Stevens.
The Schalke 04 team will not get any time off for Easter following Saturday's 2-5 defeat to Hoffenheim, head coach Huub Stevens has underlined.

"I would have liked to give the players some time off during Easter, but, unfortunately, they haven't deserved that," Stevens told Eurosport.

Stevens was disappointed with the way his team lost Saturday's game to Hoffenheim.

"If you play against a team who are on a good run, you can't make certain mistakes. And if you do so anyway, you have to try to get back in the game as fast as possible. We didn't do that," he explained.

Schalke are 15th in the Bundesliga table - six points clear of 16th-placed VfB Stuttgart.
