Report: Leverkusen eye Real Madrid starlet Martin Ødegaard

Real Madrid starlet Martin Ødegaard has reportedly attracted interest from Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen are said to be interested in Real Madrid's Martin Ødegaard who's on loan at Dutch side Vitesse until the end of the season.

'Die Werkself' are looking for offensive reinforcements following the €25 million sale of Julian Brandt to Borussia Dortmund.

And according to Marca, the Bundesliga side are keeping an eye on the 20-year-old who can play both on the wing and in a central role.

However, it may turn out to be difficult to persuade Real Madrid to let go of the Norwegian international. Instead, Marca believes that another loan deal would be a more realistic option.

Apparently, Real Madrid recently rejected a €20 million offer from Ajax.

Ødegaard, 20, has impressed in the Netherlands this season with 11 goals and 12 assists in 37 appearances. His contract with Real Madrid runs until 2021.
