Arne Maier expresses desire to stay at Hertha
Arne Maier says he expects to stay at Hertha BSC for another season at least.
Hertha BSC star Arne Maier says he doesn't have any intentions to leave the German capital this summer.
The 20-year-old has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in the past, but he feels in no rush to join a bigger club.
"Of course I want to play in the Champions League someday. But I still have time and patience in this regard. I have a big desire to spend another year at Hertha. I have a career plan, and at the moment I'm still fully in range of my target," Maier told Kicker.
Maier made 26 appearances for Hertha in the 2018/19 campaign. He missed the last seven Bundesliga games of the season because of an injury.
