Report: Schalke to battle for Ozan Kabak with Man United, Tottenham and Arsenal

Schalke 04 reportedly want to sign VfB Stuttgart's Ozan Kabak who has also attracted interest from Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal.
Schalke have made VFB Stuttgart's Ozan Kabak, 19, one of their top transfer targets this summer, Sport Bild understands.

The centre-back, who has reportedly also attracted interest from Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal, could leave VfB Stuttgart via a €15 million release clause following their relegation from the Bundesliga.

It was Schalke's new technical director, Michael Reschke, who brought Kabak to Stuttgart from Galatasaray in a €11 million deal in January before the 61-year-old lost his job as sporting director at the Swabian club in February.

According to Sport Bild, Schalke only have around €20-25 million available for transfers prior to any sales, though, and 'The Royal Blues' would also like to sign a creative midfielder and a striker.

The Gelsenkirchen club could free up some funds for new signings by selling the likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Amine Harit, Hamza Mendyl and Yevhen Konoplyanka.

However, it's questionable whether all of them want to go. And if Schalke do sell the four players, they probably won't get the €45.5 million back that they invested to sign them.
