Germany demolish Estonia 8-0

'Die Mannschaft' took a crushing 8-0 win over Estonia at Opel Arena.
Germany enjoyed complete control at Opel Arena in Mainz as they put eight past Estonia in a convincing 8-0 win on Tuesday evening in the qualification for the European Championship in 2020.

'Die Mannschaft' went in front after just 10 minutes when Marco Reus scored after a good cross from Thilo Kehrer, and Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka quickly got on the scoresheet as well.

Ilkay Gündogan then made it 4-0 from the penalty spot before Marco Reus smashed a free-kick into the back of the net with 37 minutes on the clock.

The home team kept producing chances after the break and could have hit double figures had they been a little more clinical.

In the end, it ended with a crushing 8-0 win to Germany after Serge Gnabry, second-half substitute Timo Werner and Leroy Sané added further to the lead.

Not a bad way to end off the season - now, a well-deserved summer holiday awaits.
