Report: Dortmund full-back nearing Huddersfield move

Borussia Dortmund full-back Erik Durm is said to be close to a move to Huddersfield Town.
Huddersfield Town are very interested in the signing of Borussia Dortmund full-back Erik Durm, Bild understands.

Durm, whose contract runs until 2019, is expected to move on this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Dortmund. The full-back knows Huddersfield manager David Wagner, who coached Dortmund's reserve team from 2011 to 2015, and could now join him in England.

The 26-year-old had a large part of the past season hampered by injuries and didn't make a single appearance for Dortmund during the 2017/18 season.

In total, Durm has appeared 97 times for 'Die Schwarzgelben' with two goals and 11 assists to his name. He has also played seven times for the German national team and was part of the squad that won the World Cup in 2014.
