BVB boss confirms that Abdou Diallo will join PSG
BVB boss Michael Zorc has confirmed that Abdou Diallo is set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Abdou Diallo will join Paris Saint-Germain from Borussia Dortmund, BVB sporting director Michael Zorc has confirmed.
"That's how it has turned out. Abdou has decided for himself that he wants to take on another challenge, and for us, it fits from a financial point of view. That's why we agreed to the transfer," Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten.
According to reports, PSG will pay €32 million to sign Diallo, who is expected to sign a contract until 2024, with the fee set to increase by another €2 million if the centre-back reaches a certain number of games at his new club.
Diallo, who only joined Dortmund a year ago from Mainz in a €28 million deal, made 38 apperances for BVB.
