After scoring 16 goals in 36 games for Belgian side Sint-Truiden on loan last season, Daichi Kamada has returned to play a key role for Eintracht Frankfurt from the beginning of this season.

According to Kamada's teammate and Japanese compatriot Makoto Hasebe, the 23-year-old has a bright future ahead of him.

"Kamada has been in excellent form so far. He has developed very well in Belgium. His future shines very brightly," Hasebe told Fussball.news after Frankfurt's 3-0 win over Strasbourg in the Europa League qualification on Thursday.

Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter also trusts Kamada to get even better with time.

"Daichi played a great game. But he can still develop further," Hütter told Fussball.news after Thursday's win.

Kamada has played nine games for Frankfurt in all tournaments this season, with one goal and one assist to his name.
