Augsburg boss: Caiuby will not play for us again

Caiuby's contract with Augsburg runs until next summer, but there's no way he will get to represent the club again, says club boss Stefan Reuter.
Augsburg boss Stefan Reuter has made it clear that Caiuby has played his last game for the club after falling out of favor at WWK Arena.

When asked if there is a chance that Caiuby could play for Augsburg again, Reuter told Augsburger Allgemeine:

"No, there isn't."

"Caiuby is not in Augsburg, and no clubs have been trying to sign him. Therefore, his contract will run until next summer when it expires," Reuter said.

Caiuby, 31, was suspended by Augsburg in January after he returned to the club late after the winter break. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Swiss side Grasshoppers.
