Jens Lehmann advises Alex Nübel against joining Bayern
Alexander Nübel has been linked with Bayern München, but Jens Lehmann believes a move to England would be better for the Schalke 04 keeper.
Alexander Nübel would be wise not to join Bayern München from Schalke 04, says Jens Lehmann.
Nübel, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has been linked with a move to the Bavarians, but Lehmann feels it would be better for the 22-year-old to go somewhere else if he ends up leaving Veltins-Arena.
"As long as Manuel Neuer is still playing for Bayern, I wouldn't go there," Lehmann told Sky.
"He could also join a good foreign team. His size would make him ideal for the Premier League," he added.
Nübel has made 29 appearances for Schalke.
