Rangnick open to Germany job in the future

Ralf Rangnick admits he would like to become coach of the German national team at some point.
Former RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick says he could imagine taking on the job as Germany coach in the future.

"That's something every German coach could imagine," Rangnick told Sport1.

But with Germany coach Joachim Löw's contract running until 2022, Rangnick feels it doesn't make sense to think too much about the job at this point.

"The question doesn't arise at the moment, because we have a national team coach who's under contract until 2022. So it makes little sense to speculate about it," he said.

The 61-year-old left his position as RB Leipzig sporting director to become Red Bull's Head of Sport and Development Soccer at the end of last season.
