Kai Havertz and Sven Bender doubtful for Leverkusen's clash with Werder
Bayer Leverkusen are sweating over the fitness of Kai Havertz and Sven Bender ahead of Saturday's game against Werder Bremen.
Kai Havertz and Sven Bender could potentially miss out on Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga meeting with Werder Bremen on Saturday.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz revealed that both players are doubtful for the game.
"Kai Havertz was ill on Tuesday and Sven Bender had to be taken out with pain in his ankle. Neither have trained yet and I have not talked to them today. We have to wait and see," Bosz said, as quoted by the club.
Saturday's game between Leverkusen and Werder will kick off at 18.30 CEST.
