11 Gladbach players ruled out of Dortmund clash
Breel Embolo is one of 11 Gladbach players who will miss Wednesday's game against Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Mönchengladbach are struggling with injuries ahead of Wednesday's DFB-Pokal clash with Borussia Dortmund.
Tony Jantschke and Breel Embolo both suffered injuries in Sunday's 4-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt and joins an injury list which now consists of 11 first-team players.
Matthias Ginter, Alassane Plea, Raffael, Tobias Strobl, Ibrahima Traoré, Fabian Johnson, Tobias Sippel, Keanan Bennetts and Torben Müsel will miss Wednesday's game as well.
"Our medical department is doing a fantastic job and the boys are behaving very professionally. Our players are currently under a very high workload. We want to solve our injury problems as soon as possible," Gladbach coach Marco Rose said at a press conference today, as quoted by the club.
Wednesday's game between Dortmund and Gladbach will kick off at 20.45 CEST.
