Ten Hag and Pochettino considered candidates to potentially replace Kovac at Bayern

Ajax coach Erik ten Hag and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino are reportedly seen as the main candidates to replace Niko Kovac should he lose his job as Bayern München coach.
Bayern München bosses Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (CEO) and Hasan Salihamidzic (sporting director) have identified two candidates to potentially replace Niko Kovac, according to Sport1.

Kovac is determined to hold on to his job and fulfill his contract, which runs until 2021, but is facing increased pressure following a number of unconvincing performances lately.

Should Kovac eventually lose his job, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag would be Rummenigge's favourite candidate to replace him, as per the report from Sport1, which also claims that Hasan Salihamidzic is a big fan of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Ten Hag, who is under contract until 2022, recently refused to rule out that he could join Bayern in the future.

Pochettino has worked as Spurs manager since 2014, and his deal with the English Premier League side runs until 2023.

Former RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick has also been linked with the job, but has opponents within the club, as per the report.
