Denis Zakaria: 'I don't want to leave right now'

Denis Zakaria insists he doesn't want to leave Borussia Mönchengladbach at the moment.
Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria has reportedly attracted interest from plenty of big clubs, but the 22-year-old claims he isn't thinking about leaving Borussia-Park at this point.

"I don't want to leave right now. I simply want to focus 100 percent on my performances. I'm not thinking about a transfer at the moment. I want to concentrate fully on the season," Zakaria told Express.de and added:

"It's clear that I want to play in the Champions League just like any other player. And I want to do that with Gladbach if I can. If we continue to play well this season, we can achieve that. I want to do my best for that."

Asked which club he dreamed of playing for when he was a kid, Zakaria answered:

"FC Barcelona. That has always been my favourite club."

Zakaria, who has scored two goals in 15 appearances for Gladbach this season, is under contract until 2022.
