Germany's young team shouldn't be seen as one of the favorites to win next year's European Championship, says Toni Kroos.
Speaking after Saturday's 4-0 win over Belarus that saw 'Die Mannschaft' seal their qualification for Euro 2020, Kroos told UEFA.com:
"We are still lacking a little bit in experience, but certain procedures are working better and better. We will know where we stand shortly before the tournament. Currently I would not count us amongst the top favourites. But that doesn't always mean anything."
Germany coach Joachim Löw said:
"We have reached our goal, the team has played well. We have seen good movements and plays. Sure, not everything was perfect but as a bottom line I am pleased with what I saw."
