Confirmed: FC Köln appoint Markus Gisdol and Horst Heldt
FC Köln have hired Markus Gisdol and Horst Heldt.
Markus Gisdol has been appointed new FC Köln coach, the club have announced.
The former Hoffenheim and Hamburger SV coach has signed a contract until 2021 and will replace Achim Beierlorzer who was dismissed earlier this month.
Additionally, 'The Billy Goats' have brought in Horst Heldt as their new head of sport, replacing Armin Veh.
Heldt, who has previously worked at VfB Stuttgart, Schalke 04 and Hannover 96, has put pen to paper on a contract until 2021 as well.
