Schalke chief 'optimistic' of bringing in Jean-Clair Todibo from Barcelona
Jean-Clair Todibo is set to join Schalke 04 on loan from FC Barcelona.
Schalke 04 are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Jean-Clair Todibo on loan from FC Barcelona.
"I'm optimistic that the transfer will be completed in the near future," Schalke head of sport Jochen Schneider told Bild on Sunday.
Bild has posted a video which shows Todibo arriving in the airport in Düsseldorf on Sunday evening ahead of his imminent move to Schalke.
Schalke have reportedly seen off competition from the likes of AC Milan and AS Monaco to land the young centre-back.
Todibo, 20, has made three appearances for FC Barcelona this season. He joined the Spanish champions from FC Toulouse in January 2019.
