Hansi Flick: 'The team did exactly what I asked of them'

Bayern München coach Hansi Flick praised his players for following his game plan perfectly in Saturday's 5-0 victory over Schalke 04 at Allianz Arena.
After thrashing Hertha BSC 0-4 last week, Bayern München took another convincing victory tonight as they thrashed Schalke 04 5-0 at Allianz Arena.

Speaking after the game, Bayern coach Hansi Flick praised his team for doing exactly as planned.

"Of course, I'm very happy. We've picked up six points from two games and scored nine goals. The team did exactly what I asked of them and gave the opposition no room to breathe," Flick said after the game, as quoted by the club.

"I really liked the way the way we created our goals. The squad looks like a team - you have success together and that's the most fun," he added.

Bayern now sit second in the Bundesliga table, just one point behind league leaders RB Leipzig.
