Kevin Volland was disappointed that Bayer Leverkusen failed to capitalize on their dominance against Hoffenheim.
Kevin Volland says Bayer Leverkusen should have made better use of their chances against Hoffenheim.
Despite dominating shots and possession, 'Die Werkself' suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss at Rhein-Neckar Arena, much to the frustration of Volland.
"We combined well and came well into our chances. In the end, a bit of luck was missing, but also a killer instinct," Volland said after the game, as quoted by the club.
"We beat ourselves today, a really frustrating loss," he added.
