Joachim Löw not expecting to include Thomas Müller in his squad for the Euros

Thomas Müller has a 'relatively low' chance of being called up for Euro 2020, says Germany coach Joachim Löw.
Germany coach Joachim Löw says he's unlikely to include Thomas Müller in his squad for this year's European Championship.

Some have suggested that Müller has put himself back in contention for the German national team with his recent performances, but Löw isn't expecting to change his mind about the 30-year-old who was excluded from the team last year.

"The probability is relatively low if everyone is fit," Löw said in an interview with Sky and added:

"We have Leroy Sané, who is coming back from injury, Serge Gnabry, Timo Werner, Julian Draxler, Julian Brandt and Marco Reus when he's fit. We have really young players in this position who need to be given space."

When asked about Löw's statement, Müller told Sky:

"That doesn't surprise me. If I'm honest, I'm not interested in the Euros at all right now."
