Thomas Müller: Bayern don't need to be afraid of Chelsea

Bayern München have no reason to be scared of Chelsea, says Thomas Müller.
Thomas Müller is confident ahead of Bayern München's Champions League round-of-16 clash against Chelsea on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old believes Chelsea are 'a team that can really hurt you', but doesn't feel Bayern should fear their game against 'The Blues'.

"Chelsea have young, talented players and a quality team that can really hurt you. We need to be well-prepared for their particular strengths," Müller said in an interview with The Athletic and continued:

"But they're not the best team in Europe right now and we don't need to be afraid. I'm confident."

The first leg between the two sides will take place at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday at 21:00 CET.
