Kevin Kampl reveals he has held contract talks with RB Leipzig
Kevin Kampl says talks with RB Leipzig over a new deal are underway.
Kevin Kampl has revealed that he has opened talks with RB Leipzig about an extension of his contract, which expires in 2021.
"We have already had good talks. I have often stressed that I feel very comfortable here with my family. That's important to me as I have two small children," Kampl told Sky.
However, the midfielder is also considering testing himself out in a different league.
"I'm 29 now, and I know that I still have a few great years ahead of me," Kampl said and added:
"I sometimes think about going on an adventure, perhaps in another country. But at the moment, I have to say that I feel extremely comfortable here."
Kampl recently returned to training after recovering from a long-term ankle injury.
