Peter Bosz: We will not be able to keep Kai Havertz in the summer

Kai, Havertz is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, says the club's coach, Peter Bosz.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz expects Kai Havertz to leave the club in the summer.

Bosz believes it will be impossible to keep the highly-rated youngster, who has been linked with plenty of top clubs in Europe.

"We will not be able to hold on to him in the summer. He will cost at least €100 million," Bosz told Algemeen Dagblad.

"Leverkusen always want to fight for the Champions League spots and develop and sell top talents at the same time. For this fee of more than €100 million, we will try to strengthen at three our four positions. That will be very interesting."

Havertz is under contract with Leverkusen until 2022.
