Marcel Sabitzer: I feel more comfortable under Julian Nagelsmann
Marcel Sabitzer is enjoying himself under Julian Nagelsmann.
Marcel Sabitzer says Julian Nagelsmann's playing style at RB Leipzig suits him really well.
Having previously played an important role under Ralph Hasenhüttl as well as Ralf Rangnick at RB Leipzig, Sabitzer feels Nagelsmann's philosophy makes him shine even more.
"We've changed coach twice, which disrupted everything a bit in terms of system and setup. But I feel most comfortable in the current system, and the way the coach wants to play suits me," Sabitzer said in an interview posted on RB Leipzig's YouTube channel and added:
"The coach and I spoke before the season, and he made it clear that he expected me to be more of a goal threat and take more shots. Until now, I've executed that well. I obviously want to score a few more goals, and I'll work hard to do that."
Sabitzer has scored 15 goals and made eight assists in 35 games for RB Leipzig this season.
