Sancho ranked best forward in the world!

Jadon Sancho has been ranked best forward in the world in the last three months by CIES.
The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) is an independent study centre located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It was created in 1995 as a joint venture between the FIFA, the University of Neuchâtel, the City and State of Neuchatel.

They have developed a unique approach to rate players on a match-by-match basis by taking into account the pitch production and efficiency at both individual and collective level.

According to the CIES ranking, for the last 3 months prior to the coronavirus, Sancho is ranked fourth on the list of all players, regardless of age, trailing Thiago Alcântara (91.1, FC Bayern München) who is ranked third.

And, perhaps even more impressing, he is ranked first among forwards, regardless of age, across all the five biggest leagues in Europe.

For players born in 2000, Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) outranks his English countryman Ryan Sessegnon (Tottenham) and the Dutchman Kik Pierie (AFC Ajax).

The second highest figure outside of the big-5 European leagues was measured for the Danish Mikkel Damsgaard (Nordsjælland), while that for footballers playing outside of Europe was recorded for the Venezuelan Cristian Casséres (New York Red Bulls).
