Report: Javi Martinez in talks over Athletic return
Javi Martinez could be set for a return to Athletic this summer.
The representatives of Bayern München's Javi Martinez are in talks with Athletic over a potential summer move, according to Sky.
Bayern are understood to be willing to cash in on the 31-year-old, who is out of contract in 2021.
Athletic president Aitor Elizegi said in March that he would be open to bringing Martinez back to Spain if possible.
The 31-year-old, who left Athletic to join Bayern München in 2012, has attracted interest from Getafe as well, as per Sky.
Bayern paid €40 million to sign Martinez back in 2012.
