Robert Skov happy with the trust he has been shown at Hoffenheim

Robert Skov says he's happy with the trust that has been placed in him at Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim's Robert Skov says he's pleased with the trust he has been given following move from Danish side FC Copenhagen last summer.

The 23-year-old has been satisfied with his first season in Germany, which has seen him make 24 appearances with three goals and four assists to his name.

"I think it has been good and positive [season] in a lot of ways. I've learned a lot about myself and developed, both on and off the pitch. That was what I went abroad for, to challenge myself at an even higher level," Skov told Viaplay Sport Live and added:

"You always doubt how much you will get to play when you go somewhere new, but I have been playing a lot. I have been extremely happy to get so much playing time and trust from the coaching staff.

"In general, I've been happy with my development, and I feel very well in Hoffenheim. I enjoy playing football here."

Despite being a natural winger, Skov has mostly been playing at left-back for Hoffenheim so far. His contract runs until 2024.
