FC Köln plan to offer contract extensions to head coach Markus Gisdol and managing director Horst Heldt, according to Bild.

The duo joined the club in November on deals until 2021 and have enjoyed a strong start to their tenure at RheinEnergieStadion, which has seen Köln climb up the table.

And should they manage to secure Bundesliga football for next season, the club are planning to offer Gisdol and Heldt new contracts until 2023, as per Bild.

Having won eight of their last 12 Bundesliga games, Köln currently sit 11th in the table.
