Will Jadon Sancho start for Dortmund against Bayern?

After coming on as a substitute in Borussia Dortmund's first two games since the return of the Bundesliga, Jadon Sancho could possibly start against Bayern München on Tuesday.
Jadon Sancho has been making progress on his fitness after he struggled with muscle pain while the Bundesliga was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Most recently, the England international came on after 65 minutes and notched up an assist in Saturday's 2-0 win over Wolfsburg, and he could now be in line to start against Bayern München if he is deemed fit enough.

"Jadon wasn't in team training for a long time during the corona break. He only started training with the team again 10 days ago. That's not a long time," Dortmund coach Lucien Favre told Kicker.

If Sancho remains pain-free, "he can play longer" than against Wolfsburg, added Favre, but emphasized that there is no guarantee he will start.

"We'll see," the BVB coach said.
