Filip Kostic increasingly likely to remain at Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt are hoping to keep hold of Filip Kostic, who is unlikely to be sold for anything less than €35 million.
Filip Kostic is increasingly likely to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt this summer, according to Sport Bild.

The 27-year-old would only want to leave Frankfurt for a top club in Europe, as per the report, which claims that 'Die Adler' are unlikely to sell for anything less than €35 million – and in light of the corona crisis, it's doubtful that any club would be prepared to meet their asking price.

"Of course we would all like to keep Filip Kostic. I know that Filip feels very comfortable here. He needs the right environment to perform well," said Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter.

According to reports, Eintracht Frankfurt turned down a €40 million offer from Inter for the Serbian winger last summer. After selling both Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller, they didn't want to let him go at the time.

Kostic's contract with Frankfurt expires in 2023.
