Official: Augsburg announce three signings
Tobias Strobl, Daniel Caligiuri and Rafal Gikiewicz have all joined FC Augsburg.
FC Augsburg have announced the signings of Tobias Strobl, Daniel Caligiuri and Rafal Gikiewicz on free transfers.
The trio are all out of contract this summer and will be moving to the WWK Arena from Borussia Mönchengladbach, Schalke 04 and Union Berlin respectively.
Strobl and Caligiuri have signed contracts until 2023 with Augsburg while Gikiewicz has penned a deal until 2022.
"We are delighted that we have not only been able to recruit players of enormous sporting quality, but also strong characters, who have assumed important positions and leadership roles at their clubs," said Augsburg boss Stefan Reuter and added:
"We are sure that they will do our team a great deal of good through their mentality on and off the pitch."
